For many years, Eric Bellis, a native of the UK living in Los Angeles, has created images of farm animals inspired by 19th-century English painting. While continuing his tradition of farm animal paintings, Bellis has recently turned his attention to North America’s largest native land mammal, the buffalo. This showing of his latest paintings will include 15 paintings of buffalo.
Eric is a long-time member of the UK band the Mekons and a solo recording artist on Bloodshot Records.
