Afternoon At Galaxy Diner

The Galaxy Diner is found on Route 66 in Flagstaff, AZ. in a classic 1955 building. The Galaxy Diner was in service for half a century and had two owners. In 2019 the owner, JB’s Inc., filed for bankruptcy and closed the restaurant. It sat empty for a year until JB’s manager, Will Pillen, reopened it in Sept. 2020 with his daughter Autumn Pillen. The photographs of Hollywood celebrities covering the interior walls of the Galaxy were supplied by Pillen, via his mother, who was once a model in Tinseltown. The diner has been restored and is still serving up classic diner food.
