Rev Johnnie Swearingen

Rev. Johnnie Swearingen was a minister and a farmer in rural East Texas. Well known around the East Texas town of Brenham, he sold paintings from his front porch and from his pickup on the side of the road. He is probably best remembered for his depictions of rural & small town life, although he also painted religious and historical subjects.
