Reginald Mitchell

Reginald Mitchell was a native of New Orleans. Usually he painted from photographs he found in library books, magazines, postcards, etc. His immediate surroundings also became subjects: food boxes, snapshots, houses in his neighborhood. His name was always an integral part of his work. Reggie passed away in early June, 2019.
